MI&LI: Keeping Up

Not gonna lie… I have absolutely had this thought before… Admit it, you have, too. (Say yes. It will make me feel better)

So I never got around to posting my calories, exercise, etc yesterday… Things got a little hectic around here last night. And honestly, I’m thinking a post for every day for calories may be a bit overkill. (and no, I’m not just looking for an excuse not to share)

Instead, I’m trying to come up with an idea for keeping some kind of sidebar going with my daily info – and then I’ll update you all with a full post once a week. Sound fair?

Well, I don’t suppose “fair” really enters the equation since I’m baring my chubby soul, does it?

But until I get that little sidebar going… here’s my info from the last couple of days.

 

 

8/23/11

Calories Allowed: 1,293

Calories Consumed: 1,417

Workout: Dance workout & strength training

Calories Burned: 200

Net Calories for the Day: 1,217 (under by 76)

 

8/24/11

Calories Allowed: 1,293

Calories Consumed: 1,605

Workout: 3 mile run

Calories Burned: 328

Net Calories for the Day: 1,277 (under by 16)

 

Today, I’ll be taking a “rest” day from workouts since we have the Mud Run this Saturday (and hopefully I’ll have pictures from that to post next week!)

Um, I will admit to doing that ;) back in college (which was a long long time ago) when I lost like 30 lbs… and again a couple years after I got married, if I was really craving something, I would find out how many calories it was and workout extra so I could have it! hmmm, I think I need to join in on your weight loss/getting healthy campaign.
