While stepping on the scale yesterday didn’t quite reduce me to tears, it certainly wasn’t a super-happy occasion.
I’ve been arguing with myself (yeah, I do that) about whether or not to post my actual weight for you all to see.
Ok, I admit, I’m trying to talk myself out of doing it – but it would certainly go a long way to keeping me accountable, so… I’m gonna do it.
*Deep Breath*
…But not yet…
Despite my less-than-thrilling weigh-in, it was a pretty successful first day of the Healthy Heilman Fitness Plan. I stayed within my calories, wasn’t starving (yay!), and went for a run with Amber and met our distance goal for the day (double yay!)
The only issue I had was still trying to recover from an injury to my foot. It did start hurting during the last mile of our run, but I survived – and after some icy-hot and a bag of frozen peas (my cheap-o version of an ice pack) it was doing pretty well. (and still is this morning, PTL!)
This Saturday, Amber and I will be running the Mud Run ’11 in Lincoln, Nebraska. We’re excited to do our first mud run, and I’m hoping my injured foot holds out.
Ok, let’s get on with it… the stats…
Height: 5’4″
8/22/11 Weight: 156.9
Goal Weight: 140
Calories Allowed: 1, 293
Calories Consumed: 1,339
Workout: 3 mile run
Calories Burned: 333
Net Calories for the day: 995 (under by 297)
So how about you? Are you getting out there to Move it and Lose it?

kristy — i’ve continued to be impressed and proud of you for what you’ve endured and your endurance. your new move it AND lose it challenge sounds great, and kudos for you for your candor. i’m looking forward to learning more. i think a linky is a cool idea, although i don’t know how often i would link up … but it would probably be good for my weight loss, too
keep up the good work!
